Martin Garcia has been practicing commercial/business litigation in the Sarasota area for over 30 years.  Mr. Garcia, a 1989 honors graduate of the University of Florida College of Law, has extensive experience litigating business matters and is Board Certified in Business Litigation by the Florida Bar. 

 

Mr. Garcia began his career in 1989 at the Williams Parker law firm.  In 1991, Mr. Garcia left that firm, along with five other attorneys, and the firm of Matthews, Hutton and Eastmoore was started.  After two years, Mr. Garcia became a shareholder of the firm, which eventually became Matthews, Eastmoore, Hardy, Crauwels & Garcia d/b/a Matthews Eastmoore. 
 

Mr. Garcia's practice has included representing various private and public entities and individuals in complex commercial litigation matters.  He has also been involved in numerous probate/trust litigation matters.

Mr. Garcia has been recognized as a Florida Super Lawyer, a Best Lawyer in Florida and the United States, and a member of America's Top 100 Bet-the-Company Litigators and America’s Top 100 High Stakes Litigators.  Mr. Garcia was also recently recognized by Florida Trend as a Legal Elite attorney.  Mr. Garcia is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell.

Josh Dell, attorney

Josh R. Dell has been practicing commercial/business litigation throughout Florida since 2011.  Mr. Dell began his practice at a highly respected commercial litigation firm in Miami where he focused on complex litigation matters.

 

Upon moving to Sarasota, Mr. Dell practiced at a construction and commercial litigation firm where he represented regional, national and international companies in litigation throughout Florida and the Caribbean Basin. He then joined Matthews, Eastmoore, Hardy, Crauwels & Garcia d/b/a Matthews Eastmoore, where he continued to focus on complex commercial/business litigation, while also representing public bodies and serving as general counsel to local businesses.

Mr. Dell received his Bachelor of Arts from Duke University in 2004, where he was a student manager for the men’s 2001 NCAA champions basketball team.  He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law in 2011, serving as an associate editor on the Inter-American Law Review.

Mr. Dell has been named as a Florida Super Lawyers Rising Star in Business Litigation, an honor only 2.5% of attorneys receive, for 2019 and 2020.
